Friends of Trione-Annadel (FOTA) Takes Over Old Caz on May 23rd

Memorial Day Weekend Event in Sonoma County

Memorial Day weekend is getting even better in Sonoma County. On Saturday, May 23rd, the community will gather at Old Caz Beer in Rohnert Park, CA for a celebration of craft beer, outdoor culture, and local connection.

This event brings together craft beer, trail culture, live music, outdoor community, and family-friendly fun. In addition, it supports the important work of Friends of Trione-Annadel State Park (FOTA), making the celebration even more meaningful.

Annadel Trail Beer Release

One of the main highlights is the world premiere of the new Annadel Trail Beer, created to honor the trails and outdoor spirit of Trione-Annadel State Park.

To further support conservation efforts, 5% of all can sales will be donated directly to FOTA. These funds support trail maintenance, park access improvements, youth education programs, restoration projects, and accessibility upgrades.

Event Schedule

The day begins at 12:00 PM with a fun run led by Healdsburg Running Company. Participants will follow the SMART Train path, giving runners and outdoor enthusiasts a great opportunity to connect before the main festivities begin.

Throughout the afternoon, DJ Willie G will provide live music, keeping the atmosphere lively. Meanwhile, guests can enjoy food from The Spot, with 10% of food proceeds benefiting FOTA.

Community Impact

Every pint, raffle ticket, and donation contributes directly to the preservation and improvement of Trione-Annadel State Park.

Over the years, FOTA has supported major projects including Lawndale Trailhead improvements, Channel Trail restoration, bridge repairs, firefighting and trail equipment, bike repair stations, and visitor access upgrades.

In addition, the organization has transported over 1,000 students for educational field trips and helped secure an all-terrain wheelchair to improve trail accessibility.

Community Raffle

Another major highlight is the community raffle, with winners announced at 3:00 PM. Raffle tickets are available from 11:00 AM to 2:45 PM, and you do not need to be present to win.
