Memorial Day Weekend just got even better in Sonoma County. On Saturday, May 23rd, the community is coming together at Old Caz Beer for an unforgettable afternoon of craft beer, live music, trail culture, and family-friendly fun. The event also supports the incredible work of Friends of Trione-Annadel State Park and brings together the outdoor community for a great cause. Friends of Trione-Annadel (FOTA) Takes Over Old Caz on May 23rd

The highlight of the celebration is the world premiere of the new Annadel Trail Beer, created to honor the trails and outdoor spirit of Trione-Annadel State Park. Even better, 5% of all can sales will be donated directly to Friends of Trione-Annadel State Park to support trail maintenance, youth education, restoration projects, and accessibility improvements throughout the park.
The day kicks off at noon with a fun run led by Healdsburg Running Company along the SMART Train path. It’s a chance for runners and outdoor lovers to connect before the festivities begin. Meanwhile, DJ Willie G will keep the energy high with live beats throughout the day. In addition, guests can enjoy food from The Spot, with 10% of proceeds benefiting Friends of Trione-Annadel State Park. Furthermore, the event creates a shared space where community, music, and outdoor culture come together.

From Pints to Progress: The Trail Partnership Strengthening Trione-Annadel State Park
Beyond the fun, every pint, raffle ticket, and donation helps fuel real projects happening inside the park. Through its partnership with Friends of Trione-Annadel and Redwood Trails Alliance, trail stewardship projects continue to make a lasting impact throughout Trione-Annadel State Park. Together, the organizations support volunteer trail work days, professional trail construction, maintenance, restoration efforts, and trail accessibility improvements that benefit the entire community.
Their partnership has helped bring major projects to life, including Lawndale Trailhead improvements, Channel Trail restoration, bridge repairs, and visitor access upgrades throughout the park. In addition, Friends of Trione-Annadel State Park has supported bike repair stations, firefighting equipment, and trail maintenance tools. Moreover, FOTA has helped transport more than 1,000 local school children into the park for educational field trips. Furthermore, it has also helped secure an all-terrain wheelchair to improve access for visitors with disabilities.
