On Sunday, July 26, the MTB Girls Ride Club invites women to experience more than just another group ride. Tam Together: MCBC Dirt Fondo Prep Ride is a professionally coached clinic that helps intermediate riders build the confidence, skills, and endurance needed to tackle the Dirt Fondo while they enjoy one of the most breathtaking riding destinations in the country.

The four-hour experience blends coaching with adventure. Riders navigate Mount Tam’s iconic trails alongside experienced MTB Girls Ride Club coaches. Throughout the ride, participants refine climbing technique and improve descending skills. They also dial in pacing and nutrition strategies. While the ride is designed to prepare participants for the Dirt Fondo, its impact reaches far beyond race day. Following the ride, the group will gather at The Junction Restaurant in Mill Valley at 3:00 pm. They will enjoy an afternoon of food, drinks, and conversation. This is a chance to celebrate the day’s accomplishments. Riders can share stories from the trail. They also continue building friendships that often become riding partners for years to come.

Registration includes four hours of professional coaching. It also includes a small-group guided ride. Riders receive instruction on climbing and descending techniques.
